SweetWater Brewing Company approached Green Olive Media during the planning stages of their taproom renovation and expansion project. With over 20 years of experience in the craft brewing industry under our belt, our team was ready to focus on creating an even better on-site experience for local Atlantans and visiting beer connoisseurs alike. Green Olive implemented a comprehensive communications strategy to reposition SweetWater Brewing Company as a top beverage destination on a national platform, as well as generating brand awareness and loyalty amongst local and regional residents. Although the brewery was already well established in the media landscape, Green Olive was able to capitalize on their notable reputation and expand upon the brand narrative by introducing the expansion project to feature a brand new menu of chef-driven food offerings, the renovated taproom space itself, as well as the addition of an outdoor patio. Through strategic, proactive media pitching across local, regional and national outlets, the team garnered significant traditional and non-traditional media coverage (including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines, radio and broadcast placements, online publications, and social media influencer engagement). Furthermore, we assisted SweetWater with taproom event coordination and implementation by organizing run-of-show strategies, managing invites — including those to prominent local media and social media influencers — and assisting with day-of, on-site operations.
